forging bio w 1007

Forging Bio 1007 W is a synthetic lubricant, has a graphite and mineral oil-free formulation and is miscible with water. These features are designed to provide a cleaner working environment. Moreover, it can be effectively used in forging various materials such as steel and aluminum. Forging Bio 1007 W shows strong adhesion when applied to forging dies and forms a homogeneous lubricant film layer. This layer reduces the contact between the forging die surfaces and the parts and allows the part to be easily separated from the mold. As a result, it provides an effect that extends mold life. Forging Bio 1007 W is a solution typically used in forging medium-duty parts. This solution can be applied to the mold surface by brush or spraying. Additionally, it performs effectively at mold temperatures between 130-400 °C.

  • Recommended usage concentration: 5-15%
  • Refractometer coefficient: 2.1
  • When preparing the Forging Bio 1007 W solution, the coolant should always be added slowly to the water and mixed until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
  • Required values of the water to be used in preparing the Forging Bio 1007 W solution;
    Hardness: 5-20 °dH
    Conductivity: <1000 μS/cm
    Chloride Amount (CI): <50 mg/lt
  • In order to prevent foam formation in solutions prepared using deionized water, it is recommended to add hard water to increase the hardness of the water to a minimum of 5°dH. When the temperature of the water used drops below 10°C, mixing of the liquid will become difficult.
  • Clean formulation providing an environmentally friendly working environment.
  • Structure containing completely synthetic components.
  • High level of biological stability.
  • Formula free of graphite and mineral oil.
  • Capacity to achieve quality surface results.
  • Exceptional corrosion protection properties.
