Klüberoil 4 UH1 N is a polyalphaolefin-based, high-performance multi-purpose oil and gear oil that can meet the increasing power density and increasing requirements of modern gears. Klüberoil 4 UH1 N contains high-level raw materials and improved additives that provide maximum performance in the lubrication of gear equipment.

Klübersynth GEM 4 N clearly exceeds the CLP requirements according to DIN 51517-3. Klüberoil 4 UH 1 N can be used in relevant gears without consulting the gear manufacturers, observing the general application notes.

Klübersynth GEM 4 N offers high friction load capacity. The gears are adequately protected against friction even at extremely high peak loads, vibrations or oscillations. Good wear protection of gears and bearings ensures that lubricated equipment reaches its calculated operating life and thus achieves lower maintenance and repair costs. Thanks to its high micropitting resistance of GFT ≥ 10 according to FVA 54/7, it offers effective protection for gears exposed to high loads and is resistant to this type of damage.

Klüberoil 4 UH 1 N offers a much longer working life than mineral oils and white oils, thanks to the excellent aging and oxidation resistance of selected base oils; Thus, service intervals can be extended and maintenance costs can be reduced. The product's low foaming tendency and anti-rust properties ensure trouble-free gear operation. Freudenberg seals made of 72 NBR 902, 75 FKM 585, 75 FKM 260466 and 75 FKM 170055 are statically and dynamically resistant to Klübersynth GEM 4 N. Leakage and oil contamination are prevented.

  • Klübersynth GEM 4 N N oils have been specially developed for the lubrication of spur, bevel, worm and planetary gears operating under high loads. These types of gears are mostly used in the steel, mining and sugar industries. Klüberoil GEM 1 N oils are also used for the lubrication of standard worm gears as specified in DIN 3996. In addition, Klübersynth GEM 4 N can be used for the lubrication of rolling and plain bearings, all types of gear couplings, chains, guide bearings, links, spindles and shafts and pumps, especially in applications with equipment exposed to elevations or significant temperature fluctuations.
  • Klübersynth GE 4 75 W 90 can be applied by immersion, circulation and oil injection.
  • It is also possible to use Klübersynth drip feed lubricators, brushes, oil cans or suitable automatic lubrication systems.
  • When using automatic lubrication systems, pay attention to the manufacturer's instructions regarding the maximum permissible viscosity. Lower viscosities can also be used for spray lubrication.
  • Klübersynth G 4 is miscible with mineral oils. However, for the Klübersynth G 4 to operate at full performance, the amount of residues in a previously used lubricant must not exceed 5%.
  • For use at permanent temperatures of maximum 80 °C, gaskets made of NBR can be used. For higher temperatures, seals made of FKM should be selected. It should be noted that elastomers from one or more manufacturers behave differently and should be tested.
  • To check the contact pattern during operation, the contact surface detection paint Klübertop P 39-462 Spray (Art. No. 081295) can be used.
  • When switching to Klüberoil GEM 1 N, residues of previously used gear oil can be easily removed by adding Klüber Summit Varnasolv HV (Art. No. 050135).
